Waste Label Example

*The waste producing company must fill each package completely as specified here while sending its waste. The label should be prepared and used in such a way that it will not be damaged by the external environment.

Information Required on the Waste Label

1- The name of the company where the waste originates.

2- The address of the company where the waste originates.

3- Person responsible for the environment and waste in the company that produces waste, signature and stamp.

4- Name and code of the waste (waste code number specified in the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation Annex-7 Hazardous Waste List).

5- Physical properties of the waste (as specified in the Explanation Guide of the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation Annex-9A National Waste Transport Form).

6- The color of the waste (as specified in the Explanation Guide of the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation Annex-9A National Waste Transport Form).

7- Type and number of Packaging and Containers (As specified in the Explanation Guide of the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation Annex-9A National Waste Transport Form).

8- Hazardous feature (code number specified in the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation Annex-5 Characteristics of the Waste Considered Hazardous).

9- Risk phrase and Explicit statement (risk situations and combinations specified in the Dangerous Chemicals Regulation).

10- Safety phrase and Open statement (Safety recommendations specified in the Hazardous Chemicals Regulation).

11- Risk conditions of the waste.

12- Extinguishing medium of the waste.
