We hereby declare and commit to the following as our fundamental policy:
To carry out our hazardous waste collection and recovery activities in accordance with customer requirements, legal and other obligations, environmental protection principles, safe and healthy working conditions, and the continual improvement of energy performance;
To continually improve product/service conformity, reliability, traceability, and customer satisfaction by accurately understanding customer needs and expectations;
To support pollution prevention, sustainable use of natural resources, reduction of waste and emissions, protection of soil, water, and air, implementation of the life-cycle approach, and climate change adaptation and mitigation activities;
To eliminate hazards in order to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, reduce occupational health and safety risks in accordance with the hierarchy of controls, and effectively manage ATEX/process safety, chemical exposure, work permit systems, and emergency controls;
To ensure consultation and participation of employees and employee representatives, obtain their views, and encourage the reporting of hazards and improvement opportunities without fear of retaliation;
To continually improve energy performance and the Energy Management System; to support the procurement of energy-efficient products and services, designs that take energy performance into account, and the provision of appropriate information and resources;
To efficiently manage electricity, natural gas, and diesel fuel consumption by monitoring significant energy uses, energy performance indicators, and energy baselines;
To comply with applicable legal requirements, permit/license conditions, customer requirements, and other requirements to which the organization has committed itself;
To improve competence, awareness, communication, maintenance, calibration, measurement, data analysis, risk and opportunity management, and supplier/contractor controls;
To provide the resources necessary for the management systems to achieve their intended results, measure performance, eliminate the root causes of nonconformities, and ensure continual improvement;
As Lurec Laboratory, to provide services independently and impartially; to comply with national and international legal regulations, as well as laws, legislation, and obligations applicable to our laboratory; to follow innovations in laboratory activities, keep information up to date, operate control methods effectively, and pursue a policy based on increasing service quality, reliability, integrity, independence, impartiality, and confidentiality;
To keep the environmental impacts of our activities within acceptable limits;
And to carry out the necessary activities in order to be a leading organization in the sector.
